CPA

CPA is a equation of state that has attracted some interest from the oil industry.

Is is made by combining the SRK EOS with the associating term.

This results in a model that can handle far more complex fluids then the original SRK model.

2 mixing rules are defined for the association term in CPA:

•CR1 or Auto

•ECR

The literature gives more information on the 2 mixing rules

For non-associating components 3 parameters are fitted to vapor pressure and density while for associating components 2 extra parameters are fitted.
